For now, Sony’s motion control device is simply the “wand”. Sony says that it most likely won’t remain like that so theres room to speculate and according to Shuhei Yoshida the head of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide, “There are several candidates for the name of the controller.” Also, at the moment Sony’s equivalent of Nintendo’s Wii...

Mod Warfare 2 no demo/beta
Developers Infinity Ward have said there are “no [plans] for a Demo before launch”, because “the entire team is focused on polish all the way up to ship of the full game”. Also no beta. A lot of people are taking this personally, as an insult to their intelligence. That Infinity Ward Is just pushing this as fast as possible knowing people will buy it no matter what....

Minh Le is probably not a lot of people know but he did create the famous Counter Strike mod which to this day is played by millions of players and still is a huge esport. I trust this man
Oh my god, my faith has been restored. At least in Kojima. In an interview with Kotaku, Kojima assured everyone that he wasn’t interested in casual titles. He said of course Natal will be a excellent platform for casual titles and to be honest I agree. I think even for some of us a properly built, developed, and a good looking game like World of Goo, and Peggle have a place in our...

No UMD transfer for PSPGo
Sony has finally revealed that they will not be offering digital transfers for the users stuck with UMDs that were willing to go buy the PSPGo. Huge mistake, huuuuuuuuge. Sony told Kotaku, “We were evaluating a UMD conversion program, but due to legal and technical reasons we will not be offering the program at this time.” Of course they’re offering PSP owners in the UK looking to...

Halo ODST. Do not buy it.
Ah, the Halo franchise. One of the biggest of all time, almost ready to rival the classics. Jokes. I use to be a fan, honestly. I loved Halo: Combat Evolved, I played it a ton on the computer. The story was interesting and the multilayer was different from other games at the time. Halo 2 broke my heart, Halo 3 took it a bit back adding a bit more fun for me as I played through it alone and...

Please restore my faith Microsoft
Fan boy here, hello! Not. I’m getting on the bandwagon, seriously. Microsoft at it’s Natal panel at TGS’09 announced publishers and developers that are currently working and toying with the Natal kit and making games. Activision Blizzard, Bethesda, Capcom, Electronic Arts, Konami, Sega, Square Enix, THQ, and Ubisoft were all on the list currently and I’m impressed....

PS3 Slim sells 1 million consoles
Surprising, really. I almost counted Sony out and was ready to not even look back. I didn’t think this late in the game someone would be dishing out consoles like this. What probably is most surprising is why Sony didn’t announce the Slim at E3’09. I mean really, Sony had people to impress at E3 and I feel would of stole the show with something like this. Looking back we had...

Is anyone as worried as I am?
I’m serious, it’s getting a little bit silly how far Nintendo is dragging what it created through the dirt and spreading it’s seed everywhere, it’s dirty…dirty seed. I’m really trying to accept the motion control take over that’s coming next year, I’m not going to lie, I don’t feel games will be the same without a controller, sometimes...

Whhhhhy?
Look at this thing! It’s a wheel, why! This is the Pspgo’s converter, Sony’s solution for backward compatibility on all your old PSP peripherals. So things like the camera, the microphone, and the TV tuner…if you ever bothered to buy them. Of course this is just a prototype and no date or price was released, only..this wheel, so the TV tuner will work. Right....

Price cut incoming
Not exactly what I was hoping out of TGS’09 but Nintendo, as rumored weeks ago has slashed the price on the Wii by about 50$ in North American and Japan. No idea about Europe or why they were left out. The Wii will be going from $250 to $200 by Sept. 27th in NA and Oct. 1st in Japan. Of course this isn’t going to make up for the Wii being a overpriced original Xbox with motion...
